Activity

Programme Description This is an activity planned, by a group of passionate volunteers, for the elderly under the care of Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (THK SAC @ Bukit Merah View). Super Body Super Brain & Zumba Gold will be conducted twice a month, on a Saturday and hence volunteers are invited to join in the fun by engaging/assisting the elderly in the exercise. We hope to spread joy and cheer through this one-hour programme, relieving them of social isolation and to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Mothers Day at THK BMV - photos !!!

Since it was mother's day hence  I spontaneously decided to run a simple movement to thank and appreciate the mothers who had said to have the toughest job on our activity day. Besides running the Zumba Gold, we gave our little presents to everyone and all mothers receive a pretty flower hair clips. They loved it !

 

In support of Project I Appreciate. Motivate and Family & Me (FAM.e), I also approached volunteers and friends that I came across to pen down their appreciation or messages for their mothers.

Good Story Competition - Top 20 finalists !

Good news everyone ! Our video made it to the top 20 !

 

Now we have to get on with social media platforms to share with family and friends to vote for our video so we can win S$1,000 each for us and the Non-Profit Organisation. This amount will be put to good use as we can equip the activities with a better sound system and also provide healthy snacks and drinks to our elderly before/after our activities. The Organisation can also use the amount to provide for the elderly in their care centre.
